Hi! I'm María Alarcón

I’ve been freelancing for 7 years, mostly doing Architectural Visualizations for architecture studios, interior designers and real estate developments. My main working tools are SketchUp and Vray.

But here you will see what I really like to work on and experiment with. I like to create DIGITAL SPACES to walk through them virtually and visualize them in images.

Phygital Art Show +

Digital Architecture

Virtual gallery design for Phygital Art Show +, an envolving exhibition that is born from a solo exhibition by Pol Solà at Silk Gallery Madrid, and moves towards a collective and multidimensional experience.

The online exhibition includes the vision and reflection of different invited artist whi have used the original pieces as a reference.

Concave Space

There is The Moon, The Eye, Rolling and Eclipse.

From a hand sketch where I wanted to emphasise the projection of shadows on a concave space I created a series of scenes looking for the tension between elements.

The power of dreams and how to represent them

One night I had a nightmare but I remembered very well what the space was like, the house where the nightmare occurred. While I was waiting to finish another job, I started to make some sketches of what I remembered. Directly after that I modeled that space, this is the result.
